Sumi James-Black, the daughter of Erie entrepreneur Samuel P. "Pat" Black III, has been fully vindicated regarding the federal claims asserted against her by her father’s lawyers. United States District Court Judge Susan Paradise Baxter granted the Motion to Dismiss all claims against Ms. James-Black, which was filed on her behalf by Mizner Law Firm. This comes more than two months after James-Black prevailed in separate arbitration, which confirmed that Mr. Black's partnership had been systematically depriving her Trust of financial information and distributions.
